Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota's Badlands was established in 1947
to honor our country's 26th president for his lasting contributions to the conservation
of our nation's natural resources. Today as you explore the park's 70,000 acres of rugged
bluffs and windswept prairies, you may spot a herd of wild bison .. or if you're very lucky,
a band of wild horses grazing high on a hill.
